And you're welcome for the advice. I hope it helps. Perhaps I'll plan to write more about productivity soon...

Ryan M. Inertia/procrastination is something I struggle with all too often lately. I'm working to change that.

Re: How I Overcome Inertia

Hey Rocketc - I'm with you. I have tried the outlook task list, the pda, the three-ring planner, the calendar-on-the-wall, but nothing beats my yellow legal pad. . .

Re: How I Overcome Inertia

Tina - Great to have you as a new reader. Thanks for dropping by!

Ed - I like your "global list" idea. I'll give that a try.

Rhen - I actually have a copy of The Power of Full Engagement. Perhaps I should finish reading it. ;-)

Ryan M. I do it too and it does seem to link the mind to the project much better. I also do a global list for the month. I write down everything I can think of that I want to do. It serves to remind one of the little easily forgotten things. At the end of the month I rewrite it for the next month and remove the things that really didn't need doing. I like taking control of that process rather than just forgetting the things no one reminded me of.

     Thanks,
Ed Anderson
www.masteringyourquest.com
www.edcanderson.com

Re: How I Overcome Inertia

I found your blog on google and read a few of your other posts.
